Staff Spotlight: Stephanie Harris
Ambre Blends Co-Owner Stephanie Harris has been with the company since 2007, and chances are that if you’ve ever called or emailed us, you’ve spoken to her. “Working with Steph is refreshing in lots of ways,” said Ambre, owner of Ambre Blends. “She has a handle on most everything and tries to keep things pro-leisure.”

Throughout your time at Ambre Blends, what have your job roles been? At first when it was just Ambre and me, we would take orders, talk to new stores that were carrying our products, make the product and then I would go stand in line at UPS to ship it, so the whole process of the sale from start to finish. I started as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Now that we are growing, we have more room to expand our marketing horizon and task the pros from Matchbook Creative and Pulp Functions to help spearhead our marketing efforts. My job title now is Director of Sales and Co-Owner/Partner.
What is a day in the life of Steph like? I try to keep busy; a lot of work and a ton of play as well. If I’m not rocking it at the Ambre Blends Disco Hut, you might find me flipping pizza at my family’s pizza shop or chilling with my three year old niece Maggie. It’s a lot of running from here to there but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I think I might get bored otherwise.
Favorite part about working at Ambre Blends? Making people super happy by making it easy for them to smell amazing and feel good about what they are putting on their bodies at the same time.
What are some of your favorite organic products you use? Well besides our products, I do love Neuma shampoo and conditioner and polish by Spa Ritual. I love organic thieves oil for my steam diffuser and Himalayan salt lamps.
What is your favorite Ambre Blends product and essence? I am the biggest fan of layering our essences. I like to use the Solace and Ambre together, in using both oils or mixing different products. For example, I’ll use the Solace roll on with the Ambre body cream or Ambre skin tonic. I use different scents and products for different occasions.
What is a fun fact that people don’t know about you? My family owns and operates a pizza shop and has for almost 32 years! The better part of my life, I have been eating and working at Greek Tony’s.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Traveling and exploring as well as spending time with family and friends. Try to be as leisure as possible!
Why do you think people should be using Ambre Blends? Men and women should be using our products not because they smell amazing on you but also because they smell amazing to the people surrounding you. It is a very fresh and clean product that is always inviting compliments. We pay particular attention to the ingredients and our packing to bring our clients products that are good for them and conscious of the environment around us.
What has been one of the most rewarding experiences about working at Ambre Blends? To watch this company grow over the last eight and a half years has been amazing, but mostly knowing that we are providing a product that makes our clients feel good about themselves, makes them confident and smells fantastic!
