Staff Spotlight: Scott Vanzo

Meet the newest member of the Ambre Blends team, Scott Vanzo! 

Scott has been with Ambre Blends since November of 2019. He came on to help us get through the holiday season and then we never let him go! You can find Vanzo picking, packing, processing, and shipping orders as well as helping out in production.

What is a day in the life of Vanzo like? Other than Ambre Blends, I enjoy nature, sand volleyball, live music, lake life – a free living lifestyle.

What is your favorite part about working at Ambre Blends? More than anything, I appreciate that Ambre Blends is not just a place of employment, but a family.

What is your favorite product/essence at Ambre Blends? Solace is my most used essence. Next to the oils, I use the Skin and Beard Tonic and Body Cream most often.

What was your first job? My first job was bagging groceries any Joe O’Malias for $4.35/hour.

What is one fun fact about you that most people don’t know? I have worked for all of Ambre’s siblings with exception of Josh.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Spending time at my family’s lake property.

Why should people use Ambre Blends products? It’s locally made (with love) in Indianapolis with all natural products. Win-win.

What has been one of the most rewarding experiences of working at Ambre Blends? We had an opportunity to work with Central Indiana Land Trust. We planted over 1000 trees and learned about central Indiana flora and fauna.

One piece of advice? If I could convey a message to the world it would be to live present in every moment of every day…nothing is promised, but not to worry because everything happens exactly as it is supposed to.
