Staff Spotlight: Lisa Lemen

Lisa came to Ambre Blends in October as seasonal holiday help but we couldn't let her leave after that, so now she's with us full time in production! But this isn't the first time Lisa has been in the Ambre Blends family...

"When I moved to Indy and had to start over many years ago, Ambre and Steph gave me a job doing their shipping. Back then it was only about 100 packages on a good day; very different from the thousands of packages that go out now. We shipped from the basement of her house where her dog would sleep on my feet when I keyed in the orders. The company has grown so much since then and I'm incredibly proud and excited to be back on the team again!"

We're so excited to have her join our team full-time again!

What is your favorite part about working at Ambre Blends? Of course I love the products but the best part of working at Ambre Blends is the team ~ We are the Ambre Blends family, and it's an honor to be part of it!

What is your favorite Ambre Blends product/scent? It's not easy to name my favorite Ambre Blends essence...Solace in the winter, Unmasque in the fall, Ahnu in the summer, Invoke in the spring, and Ambre all the time with anything. Also, Alpha for when I'm feeling sexy!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? When I'm not working, spending time with my kiddos makes me happy:)

What has been one of the most rewarding experiences about working at Ambre Blends? It's very rewarding to make something that you know will bring the person wearing it so much happiness. We always keep an atmosphere of positive good vibes and hope that shines through in the products we make!

What's a fun fact about you people don't know? Steph calls me the "Whirling Dervish" because I'm obsessed with organizing!

What was your first job? My first job was doing accounting for my Dad's packaging company.  

What is one thing you want people to know about Ambre Blends? Ambre Blends products are made with the finest organic ingredients available. They look and smell good enough to eat, but don't - just enjoy them on your body! And everyone near you will enjoy you wearing them!

Anything else we should know? My six year-old daughter, Ella Rose, is Ambre's niece.  Ambre is quite the matchmaker - she introduced me to her brother and we have a beautiful daughter together.
